Trail running classes focused on preparation for the 2012 Loop the Lakes Trail Race (8km, 15km and 21km half marathon)

ocus:
Improving one's ability to run trail, move efficiently, climb and descend hills
Incorporation of speed and power into training sessions
Learning the race route and creation of a race day plan
Fueling for success on the trails

Weekday Classes:
Tuesday's and Thursdays are focused on what we call "Hills, Drills + Skills".  Whether the class is focused on intervals or a tempo run, hill climbing or descending, technical trails or foot work agility, you will time learn how to become a much more efficient runner.  Improve your fitness, enjoy a workout outside and come play on the trails iwth us.
For Tuesday classes, we ask that you can run 5km.  For Thursday classes, bring your hiking legs and all levels are welcome as we are going UP the Chief.


PRE-REQUISITES:
Each race distance will have a pre-requsite for participation.
Please inquire directly to jen@challengebychoice.ca for individual training programs to help you achieve your own personal run goals!

To JOIN:
1) Visit the DOWNLOADS section of the website, print and complete the 3 STANDARD Forms.
2) Come on by the studio to purchase your membership, please bring forms with you.
3) Become a FAN of the Challenge by Choice FACEBOOK page and the Squamish Trail Run Club FACEBOOK page and find out where we are meeting at.
4) Sign in via the SCHEDULE page to each session so that we know you are coming!  Once you have an active pass, you are able to sign in for the session.
