Getting Started

Ready to put your goals into motion and start moving forward? The Challenge By Choice training studio has been developed to give everyone, regardless of where they are at fitness wise, a path to advance further on.  However, what we do ask of YOU and this is extremely important:  bring a strong work ethic and desire to challenge yourself EACH and EVERY class. If you can do this, CBC is for you!

Step 1: Read through website and learn about the classes and training services offered. Set your own personal health/wellness/sport/performance goals!

Step 2: Determine which classes you would like to attend based on your goals and then visit the MEMBERSHIPS page for which access pass best suits your needs.  Be sure you understand the expiration of each pass! Note:  that there is a pre-requisite for those wanting to attend C3 classes as you must attend a SKILLS session first! This is a private 1:1 with us to learn the foundational movements.  Email jf@challengebychoice.ca to book your session.

Step 3: Visit the SCHEDULE page, create yourself a login name and password on the MIND BODY website. You will need this to sign up for all your classes, appointments and clinics. Note that you cannot purchase a pass online or sign in until you have attended your skills session.

Step 4: Visit the DOWNLOADS tab, print off and complete the following 3 STANDARD forms and bring with you to your skills session.
- PAR Q
- Waiver
- Client Information – All CBC Programs

Step 5: Come by the studio with all 3 of your completed forms and purchase your pass (note it doesn’t start until the day of your first visit) Best to swing by just as a class is finishing up OR, bring with you to your Skills Session.

Step 6: Upon payment, you will be able to sign yourself in to classes on the dates and times that work for you.

Step 7: Time to Train!!!!!

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
All passes and memberships are non transferable and non refundable.  Passes may not be frozen or extended. The one exception to this policy is in regards to an injury lasting over 1week where together as coach and athlete, we decide that active recovery and rehabilitation are not best suited.  A doctors note is needed. It is the athletes responsibility to notify Challenge by Choice at THE TIME OF PURCHASE if a holiday lasting over 1 week is to take place during the time frame of a pass. This only applies to the 1 or 3 month unlimited membership.  It does not include 10x passes.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to make it for a 6am, 7am or 8am class, you MUST sign out by 8pm the night prior. Please respect the other members of the CBC community.  Failure to show up will result in a visit deduction from the pass. Athletes holding monthly memberships will be noted and should you fail to show up 3x's, we will likely suggest that CBC may not be the place for you to train at.  Monthly memberships may not be available to you anymore and you may need to switch to 10x passes. Please bear this in mind and keep emergency cancellations for emergency purposes. Early classes have waitlists on them and we want to see full classes in the morning. The following are withdrawl times:

8pm the night before for all 6am, 7am and 8am classes
7am the morning of for all 9am classes
4hrs prior for ALL other classes including mid-day and evening.
