Multi-Rider-CompuTrainer

State of the art indoor riding! Cycle on your own bike while using Racermate’s CompuTrainer system. Challenge By Choice is Sea to Sky’s only multi-rider location where up to 6 riders at a time can ride real time 3D race courses, be trained via wattage, cadence and heart rate, race each other on hill or time trial courses and train using racer mate’s “spin scan.” Training via the CompuTrainer in the CBC Lab is available in various formats:

Classes range from 60minutes to 2hours with each athlete riding on their own bike. Each athletes bike is connected to the computer which in turn projects the riders individual data on a 50” big screen TV. While each rider moves through the course, the data changes in real time to reflect the % grade of the terrain they are actually riding. We as coaches, are able to take that data and provide individual advice. Classes require your own bike. Please arrive a few minutes early to set your bike up on the wind trainer. Enter the studio through the rear door and up the stairs!

Individual coached rides on the Compu-Trainer allow an athlete to focus on their limiting factors as cyclists. Use compu’s “Spin Scan” to measure and analyze pedal stroke. Look at right leg, left leg power and efficiency in order to identify “flat” or “dead” spots in the pedal stroke. Focus and improve your pedal mechanics to become a smoother, more powerful and efficient rider.

NOTES FOR COMPUTRAINER RIDERS:
You must supply your own bike! Please make sure that it is clean as dirty bikes will not be allowed in the studio. Road or mountain bikes are welcomed but note that you must have a slick on your back wheel. Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled ride time in order to set up your bike! Water bottle and towel recommended.
